The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all prospects and increase read more use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
